Mewtwo Embarasing

When someone asks me which is my smash character l say Mewtwo and they laugh and l was wondering is it embarrasing to have a pokemon for my character?

Mewtwo is the most awesome pokemon out there. There is no shame in that. Its just that Mewtwo is such an awful character that everyone laughs. There are people who play Jigglypuff, if they get laughed at (especially by a falco player) then they will just get raped.

Don't give in to peer pressure! Keep M2 as your main and get really good with him. Become like Mow and only a few will laugh at you, the rest will bow.

If I played all my other chars like Mewtwo and not so reckless I'd be a scary player lol. Probably why my Marth is so good (and why no one on the boards has ever heard about it).

Pokemon wise, Mewtwo owns. Smash wise, he sucks ***. But he's still fun to play with. I play with him for fun. My main is the twin guava fruits (My friend is convinced that the Ice Climbers are guava fruits, so that's what I call them. Don't ask.).

Meh, I main M2 as well as others, and even if he is a sucky character he is one of my best if not my best character. I win with him as much as pretty much anyone else I play with. He has some tricks and some good moves although he is quite sucky. Your number one weapon with M2 is that most people have NEVER played a decent one. I was the only serious M2 player at MOAST that I saw, and I only saw one other playing M2 (quite badly too >_<) so if I am the only one out of 150+ players then that just shows you the lacking of M2's out there. The greatest thing with M2 is that people will be confused as to how they were defeated by such a low tier character. It's also REALLY easy to get a bunch of people lined up against you that want to play yas too. Also, everyone will root for you in your matches if they watch, they always want the low tier guy to win :-P.

Yea, it's because M2 sucks in SSBM. If it's because of the Pokemon game, don't listen to them. Pokemon's still a good game and M2 is badass in that game. Best pokemon there. I don't use him though because he's cheap.

Don't change your main just because a couple of people laugh. If you have the skill to back up the character, why not ask them for a friendly match and see if they laugh after you win? Then again, if you lose, they may laugh harder.

Mewtwo is easy really just never use his smashes and DI good and you'll never get screwed.

His upsmash isn't that bad, and you can use the forwardsmash right after doing a downthrow. I use his downsmash for edgeguarding sometimes. My friend plays Falco and likes to sweetspot the edge, but a downsmash completely messes him up. But yeah, most of the time the smashes are gonna get you punished...

I like how people come to the Mewtwo forum just to bash on M2.

Although he is one of the crappier characters in the game, he can still be used well. He is equipped with a lot of good moves, especially his tilts, and he can combo quite well. His main flaws are his weight, height, movement speed, and smashes (with the exception of upsmash). I think a truckload of his balancing problems would be fixed if they just increased his running and smash speeds by 25% or so. That and make his dair come out quicker :-P.

I am gonna stick with M2 and keep him as a main, cause in the next smash game they will prolly make him a HECK of a lot better :-P.

As long as you remember who you are playing, the difference in play a fast and slow chat isnt hard. I play Pichu(one of the fastest) and M2 and Zelda(Slow running speeds). Im also thinking about playing Ness too, who is pretty fast.

Mewtwo can be good if you practise enough. I happen to have a very decent Mewtwo to vs, Fair is Mewtwo's friend.

You might also want to work on your Grammar and such. It doesn't really look like a 17 year old typed that.:(

alucard, I'd be *honored* to teach you Ness, and if you want I'll send you my guide from 2003. It seems it was too crazy for the board at the time, but now I think it would pass for a standard guide of good quality. Definately the best Ness guide still though.

I also voted him as the lowest character, but that doesn't make my skill with him lessen. Who gives a ****, he might as well be the lowest anyways. If he was I would feel *that* much better about beating dudes with him.

I also want to say something. Due to a lot of players quiting smash, and that a lot of the local players here in Tupeloopa, I have decided to drop Roy and Link and persue only M2. Why? Cause my M2 is on par with them anyways, and I enjoy M2 the most. People WANT to play a good M2 cause it's not something that is common. I will never be able to win at any real tourny any time soon anyways, so I might as well focus my attention at being a **** good M2 player for the hell of it.

I'd say my Mario was evenly matched with your M2, although considering the new tier list shifting that's supposed to be embarassing for me. I don't care though, I got 4 u-airs on you in a row ^^;

I really think it's funny that some people believe that, if a character is low tier, it means they can't actually hurt you. Total lies :P Objectively speaking, I think M2 should be at the very bottom, if only because Pichu is faster and has deadlier smashes... f-smash is a rape near the edge :/... oh, and up smash kills bowser on FD at slightly over 100. That's just icky. Plus he's small, and adorable. That counts for something, yes? (come on, he has two taunts. Top tier taunt, right there). But I digress; the point is, M2 can be just as dangerous as any other character, if only because few people have experience against him. Skill with a lower-tier character is something to be proud of, especially if you surprise respected players with it and win in front of a crowd of people :P

Mewtwo has his own tier of awesomeness for his dash dance. Not out of practicallity or it being good, mainly just because it makes no sense. If you don't know what I am talking about, just pick M2 and dash dance. I guarantee slight entertainment from it at the very least.

I hope they overcompensate for M2 in the next smash. I would be extremely happy :-P. Here is hoping M2 makes top tier in SSB3.

Jolteon is badass, but M2 is broken.

Also, I like him much more as a character than any other pokemon. The dude is BA. The only prob is that the Pokemon shows/movies have to dumb things down and make things happy, kiddy, and borderline retarded. In a normal anime type situation, M2 would totally **** dudes up, and he wouldn't turn all happy lovey and gayed up like the movie made him out to be in the end.
