Does anyone else find it deliciously satisfying when you jump towards an enemy with a turnip, Z-drop it, and they try in vain to tilt/jab you because they grab the turnip and immediately find themselves eating aerials? ahaha I made you screw up

That is definately one of the greatest unexpected ways a turnip can get someone hit. I've had that happen more then once where them catching my turnip not only saved me from attack, it let me get a free hit on them too.

People that don't play peach don't really know what to do with the turnip half the time when they catch it either it seems like.

I love doing stuff like that, also just jumpcancel a dash into a turnipthrow and then lunge at them. I call this "technique" attack-cancelling XD

Do you need to jump cancel into a turnip throw to do the standing throw animation?

I was messing around with strange button combos, and I found peach could smash throw a turnip left/right (by facing) just by doing Down-B... I didn't know I could go from floating into a fall+turnip throw by doing this until I did it by accident yesterday.

It looks like it works for canceling the dash into a standing throw too. Seems easier to do (in my retarded finger's opinion) then trying to jump cancel it, plus the turnip gets slam thrown every time, which is a little harder (at least for me) to jump cancel it.


You'd still want to JC into a turnip throw for the initial dash animation though.

Here's something I cannot do on command:

Fake throw. When you first land from a normal land, you can do a fake throw. I cannot figure out how, but it looks like she's about to throw the turnip, only she doesn't. Can someone explain? >_>'

Most of my friends use c-stick to perform aerials, with nairs, of course, being the exception. So usually the z-dropped turnip doesn't mess them up. But it's still fun to try and drop one on their head. That's always amusing.

Stray turnips only affect your opponent's usage of tilts, standing As, and neutral Z aerials. We know...

I use it to screw up Jasona's dtilt. I hate Samus' dtilt.

Some players don't aerial with the c-stick all the time. I some mix and match depending on the situation.

i think the best thing to do (at least against n00bs) is float cancel just above grab range and combo with the D-air and then quickly come down and d-smash...or just d-smashing CC'ling n00bs...actually any move that kills n00bs with peach is awesome...^_^
