In an effort to clean things up around here and organize things to better accomodate new users, you'll notice we've moved some of the forums around. We might leave it as is, we might move a couple more things, but get used to it. The biggest change you'll notice is that Melee rooms now procede Announcements, which better reflects the kind of activity we're seeing.
The other major change is that Announcements has been split up into Announcements and Announcements Discussion. This will allow us to keep separate our announcements so that all users will know when we've actually posted something new by checking the icon in front of the room. All users should check the Announcements room when there are new posts. This is our main way of getting messages out to you guys, and if they're important you'll probably want to hear them.
When announcements are posted, the poster can post another topic in Announcements Discussion where users will be allowed to reply to announcements as they could before, but since it's separate users won't have to wade through replies to see important announcements. Hopefully this will encourage more users to read announcements about important events, i.e. Forum Awards.
