Kirby edgeguarding tactics

How do you like to edgeguard with kirby? I fond the most effective way is to follow your opponent out, being you have 6 jumps and one good recovery move. Just lump out and follow your oponent, and use fairs, nairs, or bairs. I find it efective. You will eventually go lower, but the final cutter can hoist you up pretty far.

Well...as silly as it may seem I tend to emulate Fox/Falco when playing Kirby.

It's not his best edgeguard but I often UpSmash on the ledge to catch a recovering opponent. Very Space Animal of me.

When I'm not drunk however...

DTilt, DSmash, and Dair...simple as that. If they are a good distance off chase with Bairs or just go for a Dair. I love spiking.

it matters the character i'm gaurding:

Sheik- drop-uair, d-smash tip or edgehog.

Fox- faux Wop into Dair, Dair, d-tilt or edgehog.

Marth- dtilt.

Peach- usually she's pretty high up, so i try for an uair.

Falco- faux Wop into Dair, Dair, d-tilt or edgehog.

CF- dtilt, drop and fair/nair/uair/bair.

samus- i try to avoid samus.

jigglypuff- i also try to avoid jigglypuff.

Doc- drop and uair, faux Wop into Dair, or drop and FFbair.

Ganon- Dair, dtilt, drop and bair/uair.

mario- drop and uair, faux Wop into Dair, or drop and FFbair.

ICs- wait for popo to pop up and uair, dtilt, or try a dair.

IC (single)- dtilit, CC into F-smash.

Luigi-dtilt, d-smash.

link- dtilt, drop and uair.

link (hookshot and up-b)- shieldgrab tbe up-b or WD back if
sweet spotted.

link (hookshot only)- dtilt.

roy- dtilt or d-smash.

DK- IT'S A DONKEY STORM!!! i usually kirby cheat.

pikachu- drop and uair, wait and uair, edgehog, or edgehog into a 2DJuair.

Zelda- edgehog, or jump and uair.

ness- dtilt, intercept a PKthunder, Wop, or Faux Wop into dair.

Yung Lynk- see link, except i tend to be more willing to chase a y. link out of the stage.

yoshi- suck and spit.

kirby- dtilt, d-smash, or FF bair.

G&W- dtilt, FFbair, dair, or d-smash. (does kirby dair out prioritize G&W up-b?)

bowser- dtilt.

M2- dtilt, d-smash, u-smash.

pichu- pikachu- drop and uair, wait and uair, edgehog, or edgehog into a 2DJuair.

but teh kirby cheat > edgegaurding.
