Broken Cape

The other day I was playing Mario against my friend's Doc when we discovered something rather odd that I was wondering if anybody else knew about. He shot a pill at me and we both kept caping it back at one another. After about 8 capes (4 each) my shield broke from caping, just like Fox's reflector or Mewtwo's confuse can break if you reflect too much stuff. I was then promptly killed by a fully charged fsmash, but it was still funny.

An interesting side note, because caping projectiles amplifies their damage, you can get a pill to do 60+ damage, at which point it actually has enough knockback to kill people, which looks hilarious.

the coolest thing ive ever seen myself in a real battle, was a ffa and someone shot a charged up superscope, zelda- dodges, doc capes, zelda B's, doc's cape still going reflects it again, zeldas B reflects again and doc get f0cked

Yah this happens, it can break, for example cape a red shell numerous times, it will break, since you add damage to it. the cape, shine and m2 side b can only reflect the damage to a certain extent. ive done it ot my friend in a fox vs falco match, where i shot a lazer and we were close both did shine and got trapped untill it broke the reflector
