If you hit an opponent while off the platform with the d-b while right in from of them. You will stun then they will fall and die. Try it out yourself against a falco. in training mode.
Mewtwo's d-b can go through most moves including falco's. I think you can do it against Doc and IC. Very hard to do against characters other than Falco and Fox.
