Roy trix vid

I'm creating a Roy trix vid right now including Wavedashing/Dashdancing, Sff'ling, Edgehogging, Dtilt combos, Grab combos, Chain Grabbing, DED combos, Counter edgeguarding, Projectile cancelling, Reverse Blazer against Jiggs, and this Bomb combo I once saw in this vid called Bomb combos that I just took the idea for and added it as Misc.

Is there anything I'm forgetting and The GERM's vid had a differenct style to it with the teaching thing so any ideas what I should do for this vid? And also any ideas for names? The Cape gave me an idea to just call it Roy Toys.

I don´t know about you but I like watching these kinds of vids even though I know most of the tricks.

oh btw. Add pivoting there (DA dash) it really helps roy dig in that Fsmash sometimes IMO.

My playstyle is actually quite dif from Ken's.. I barely ever full jump and wavedash a whole **** lot.

Besides, Ken's the one who put Roy on the map as well..

And what's this crap about not getting respected? Ken gets the most respect out of all the top players, and like you said.. everyone steals his stuff.

I don´t really understand players who think you you´ll get more "famous" by using tricks in tournies that suprise people because it hasn´t been discussed... maybe that´s just me.
If you look at the Ness boards we pretty much share all of our stuff there (except mow :p) and help each other to be better.
Well it is n´t much different in amrth boards but you ghet the picture.

I´d rather have this game been striven to the point of most understanding about it, which is where top players of different chars share their strategies and such...

Well if people expect the suprise attack that they know about since some guy told about it in this forum, I guess you should be able to react and use something different. this is theoretical of course and I´m not assuming that your suprises work only if you opponent doesn´t know about them...

NEO, don't worry. Mookie won't tell me anything to put in this. I'm just doing basic stuff and a couple of stuff that I found out how to do that's not too special and could only be used at specific times.

And Mookie's already told me you've got some tactic that only you and Mookie know and he won't tell me >_< if you read this Mookie, don't tell me of anymore special tactics that you're not going to tell me what it is. I wouldn't have cared but now I'm curious.

And NEO, your Roy's awesome. Just winning that much with him is enough to say that.

Roy can do some insane stuff though.

I talked to Mookie though and he said I should include the down+a meteor smash. It's almost useless but he said it sounded cool. Guess I should finish doing this now.

EDIT: Oh, and if there is an effective way to using the dair spike I would also like to know, but if you dont want to tell I'll have to find it myself.

Ah, the dair spike (well, meteor, actually). Mookie and I (at least) have been trying to come up with an effective use for it...so far, not good (at last I checked, anyway). Idea, then fails. Another idea, looks like it's going to work, then bust. Than another, then comes even closer before SSBM decides it doesn't like Roy. He HAS found a use (but I don't know if I can share it, so it'll have to wait). In either case, it's not so much effective as it is a use for it...

Yeah, the dair meteor with Roy is hard, but the trick with it is to, if you can, try to pop your opponant as they are rising from their second jump, or their third jump, if you time it right, the middle of Roy's blade should whack them, and they'll be spiked down, I've only done it a couple times though, I'm not much for spikes as I am for edge-hogging with Roy.

On another note, it's really funny when you spike someone with Flare Blade in mid-air....it's just hard as hell to do and always ends up in a SD.

I found a effective(sorta) way to spike with Roys down air, but rebel don't want me telling my Roy secerts so i'll see if he wants me to tell everyone first lolz.

Sengin, I don't care if you post how I dair spike dudes, cause it's really not very efficient. It looks bad as hell though. You simply dair spike from edgehog. If your opponent is using his second jump or doesn't hit on the way up then it's really easy to spike with, but then again there are better options. I do it merely for the hardcore points :-P.

I don't really care if you tell the dair spike because I think it's inefficient and won't work half the time. And plus it doesn't really matter since MookieRah just said it ^_^
