Offensive teleport does not work. It just doesn't. Let it go. After seeing some peeps trying to defend the idea, I was scared someone with little experience might take it seriously, so I just wanted to make it clear.

I always use it. People don't see it coming. I teleport and grab them from behind. You just don't know how to play with m2 you nub.

Oh I know, this topic was actually sarcasm. I mean it's not like teleporting inside your opponent's range is a bad idea, what with all the startup time that lets him see you coming and then the recovery that leaves you wide open to pretty much anything he feels like destroying you with.

You don't know how to use it. You have to jump and then teleport, or else you'll lag on the floor. That way, you can offensive teleport and then use confusion or the grab. Every M2 player knows that. I use it all the time, and I can beat level 9 Fox without losing one stock out of 3.

Yea, and we know how it would just break your heart for someone to actually try it and decide for themselves whether it works or not. lol
Let it go, Test.

you just don't know how to play with mewtwo, nub. why don't you go flatland infinite you nub.
To quote the matrix, "Some rules can be bent; others, broken."
The "defending of the idea" you were refering to is an example. I don't know how, but I have teleported, then airdodged WITHOUT LANDING BETWEEN.
The idea's ridiculus, yes, and violates the rules of smash as we know them, but apparently it IS possible.
Without whatever glitch made it possible, yes, an offensive teleport is crazy. On the other hand, Mewtwo cannot survive with out mindgames, which means sometimes taking risks and doing the unexpected.
Testrider, correct me if I'm wrong, but M2 is not someone you play often. M2 NEEDS to be played often to get a real feel for how he plays.

Did you take a hit after the teleport? Being hit mid-air after an up-b move usually gives you another recovery, so maybe you were able to air dodge after taking a blow O_o

I will not believe this teleport cancelling nonsense till I actually see a vid of it or accidently do it myself. I haven't goofed off with it yet and I will later on tonight just cause I am bored, but I really doubt it's something that can be done easily and/or consistently. If it was, I am sure we would know about it by now.
@Chester
Making references to beating a comp generally points out that someone is n00bish. I don't know who you are so I am not gonna say anything about that, but calling someone a n00b and then saying you can take on a level 9 Fox doesn't add much to credibility. Also, saying that just because a person doesn't use one specific strat or technique it doesn't mean that they are a n00b with said character. I personally don't use teleport in offensive ways, and I can assure you that my M2 is anything but n00bish.

the only thing you can do with the teleport is the jump cancel.

What kaid meant to say
On the other hand, Mewtwo cannot survive with out patience, which means always doing the unexpected cautiously, without taking risks.

I don't know what you mean by "often", but Mewtwo is probably one of my 5 most played characters. There's no "real feel" behind Mewtwo, at least nothing that doesn't apply to other characters. I'm getting sick of this attitude many Mewtwo players seem to have, that somehow their character is more "unique" than the 25 others. Time for a reality check : the only unique thing about Mewtwo is how much he sucks.
EDIT for Mookie : Oh thank you so much, now Chester will believe his sarcasm is actually decent.

Well, with the rampant n00bishness that has been posted in the M2 specific forum as of late it's kinda hard to distinguish between someones sarcasm and someones serious posts.
