Woah...either there was a bug in the game or you're crazy. You can't air dodge after a teleport O_o

instead of an attack you did an air dodge. I use that for recovery sometimes, teleport to the edge and cancel it, airdodge up onto the arena. Pretty useful.

I don't know, but even if I did, Mow is right- it should not be detailed where anyone could see.

According to Mow, any B move is cancelable. If Mewtwo can fly indefinately this way, so could fox, shiek, zelda, falco, pichu(ouch!) and picachu.

admititly, only the pokemon are fast enough to compete like this, but the fact they damage those they quick-attack through makes them a serious threat, while M2 is still limited to attacking things at teleport's maximum distance. Even if Mewtwo's acting like Freesa (DBZ- hey, waitasec- CAPSULES?)he still has all his weaknesses, which have been expounded at length elseware.

However, Mow, TC does allow some interesting, DBZ-ish combos-
like Uthrow-TC-spike, to start you off.

I think what Mow was trying to say is that teleport canceling and the cancelation of all of the other B moves is impossible or at least not known. This whole thing was just a wild goose chase that the n00bs took off with because they made too many assumptions off of what he said.

Nonono... There were no misinterpretations. Mow has certainly claimed to be able to, in some way, cancel many of Mewtwo's moves, and has not revealed how those cancellations are accomplished.
He has also admitted to not wanting people to know, because then the glitches he claims to use would be countered. It's all very hard to believe, but it also seems entirely pointless to just make it all up, and the admission of falsehood by Mow is perhaps more believably in-character if he is, in fact, lying right here.

Maybe people woudl be more inclined to try the "stuff" if u atleast provided clips proving that the "stuff" is real. Alowing people to see the trick done is not the same as teaching them how to do it or counter it. If that were the case as soon as you did and technique people would automatically master it and counter it all the time.

Of course Samus' super WD would exist weather or not it was shown in a vid but atleast the people who discovered it and decided to let people know about it backed up thier claim; if not there's not even any point in mentioning it. If I saw the real Big Foot and went around telling people that I saw him it would be my responsibility to back up the claim with some hard evidence so atleast people wouldn't think I was full of it. If you're not going to even atempt to prove an extraordinary claim don't even bother making it

I think for the sake of your credibility you should make some effort to prove to the community that the tricks you claimed to pull off are real. If you're not gunna do that then why pretend to contribute?

I'll agree with one thing Mow Said, i wish there were no video's about smash at all, people need to figure things out themselves or they just become mindless clones of other people and there is no suprise in their strat, which is why i dont use any upper/top tier characters and tend to stick to middle tier, in gaining an edge in my own unique styles.

That being said, I personally cant use Mewtwo well, I have no idea what you guys are talking about and whatever it is doesnt seem game-breaking, so if Mow doesnt wanna tell you or if its fake, move on.

Then whats the point in having a SSBM community if everyone learns what they learn in a vaccum? I thought the idea of the smash community was to share new techniques and tips with other people so that the community's ability as a whole improves.

Besides, its inevitable that people will develop thier own styles regardless. Some will be more confortable with one technique than another and people will still develop thier own tactics while playing with friends, or what ever. If they come up with a great new techinique and share it people may start to use it a lot in tournies but then eventually someone will come along with a counter to it. Its the same with any game or sport with a community of people who play it, its how they evolve.

Again, I was under the impression that the whole idea of this forum was for us to share ideas with other smash players. You're not making sense... There's nothing wrong with learning something through a video. Just because they give you ideas doesn't mean you won't think of anything new. I never thought to shorthop fair - airdodge against a CCed tipper 'til I saw Ken Marth do it to Isai Falcon. He got a grab out of it; I dunno if I would have wanted a grab at the time. I don't think you have a good reason to not like videos. I think your reasoning is faulty. I believe that the benefits of having videos available for public consumption quite significantly outweigh the costs.
