double missle in one jump

i was watching some hugz vids of him playing samus, and i saw him do two missles in one jump. can someone please enlighten me on how to do this marvelous schenanigan?

well, its simple really.
first you do a full jump
second, you fire a missle
third, you fire a missle
taadaa!!!!!!!!!
i'll leave the rest for aftermath

the trick is to fire the first missle as soon as you can after you jump. hopefully you can get it off at around the time you reach the top of your jump. you have to be careful though not to go to fast or you might short hop instead of a full jump. if you do this you wont have the time to do two missles. after you do the first one you have to find the timing for the second. if you do it correctly you should missle cancel the second missle.

well I do this and short hop 100% of the time and when I full hop I fire a missle and land with a ghost missle, so I diecided to go to hugz house and have him teach me. cause saying it don't help much =/

Zarelid brings up a good point. the best thing you can do is either find more people near you can practice with them. or find a tourny and bug people to teach you stuff. if your on the east coast you have Oro, Jasona, and the mighty Wes. there are plenty more but these are the people I've actually learnt from.

if its too hard, you can try only playing in slow mo, its under the special melee catagory. thats what i do so i can do all those neat tricks like that. i'm the best at slow mo playing. seriously, play like that from now on so you can get used to the timing, its so much better.

When I first saw vids of HugS doing this, it looked fairly simple. It's actually one of the harder things to master, and I still don't have it down as well as I would like. I need to practice it more, I can tell it's very useful.

honestly, this technique isn't very hard. you hit y with the tip of your thumb, then roll the side of your thumb to hit b, if the first missle is fast it should be easy to get the second. if you're super duper mondo crazy fast you can even have one of the missles be homing, but thats pretty **** tough.

I just have trouble jumping cause I short hop like everytime and when I don't the second missle is a ghost missle(meaning sound effect but nothign comes out) so yeah it's annoying.

well hold y a little longer, you can still hit b witht he side of your thumb while holding y. if you're cool enough, that is.

I do the dual missle jump with the joystick. It seems easier, to me, to jump and fire a missle that way... kinda like FFing and firing a missle.

I'm not tryin' to take credit from any one by saying this, but the tech only took me bout 5 mins to do while practicing and about a hour to get comfortable with now I'm moving with it........to put shortly i dont see why some ppl cant do it.....they may want to try it with the joystick like someone metioned earlier......seeing the vid helps a whole lot so if someone hasn't seen it and is trying it there's a little problem there and should really try to see it..:beezo:

I find it way easier to just use your pointer finger to hit X/Y and your thumb to hit B.

You can also double missle with morph ball bombs. I can do it... only occasionally... cause you have to like fast fall into the bomb explosion and shoot the super missle soon thereafter, and the missles come out faster this way because its like short hopping, so the 2 missles you shoot are close together and are both lower to the ground.
