What if no one plays mewtwo right?

Mew2 is not a upclose character. Why does everyone play him that why. They don't use his teleport or his b attacks. Mewtwo doesn't suck it just no one plays him right the right why.
falco's and Marth's game is completely opposite to Mew2's...so don't play him like falco the birdman and marth von tipper.

Or maybe the game designers weren't all-knowing and infallible, and maybe they totally screwed up in balancing characters like Mewtwo.

And whats this about Mewtwo not being an "upclose character"? The only ranged attack he has is the Shadowball and you're not gunna win any matches by just spamming the B button. I suppose every other move in Mewtwo's arsenal (which ARE "upclose" attacks) are just for show arent really needed to win a match :o

There's no "right" way to play a char... the world isn't black and white. If someone feels like playing a keep-away marth, they can do w/e the **** they want to do.

If you think he's so good played like that, go ahead and win some tournaments with m2 using that style. That'll learn us all.

He is not an upclose character fox is. Range does not nessisarily make you a long range character. Knockback,Spacing attacks,teleporting and very long rolls do. All of which he has in his defense game.

mewtwo is the hardest character to master and play properly. I play him properly and know what you can do with him and what you cannot. Spamming b isn't the mindgame I am talking about. More like You come to me instead of me coming to you. You have a huge countering advantage that way.

Mew2 is not a upclose character he's too laggy. You cannot win a slow vs Quick battle so you have to take they're strength away from them. By playing your game.Come to me Down-b or f-b+shield(Note:don't do this while running you will lag too much to shield also make sure you are close to them too are the cancel will not work)

Mewtwo is a far away come in character. Take for instance his fair(insanely quick on release!!!) jump into people with it while running. Or running a to up-smash.Or running f-b+cancel. running grab.

I don't know much about Mewtwo but you even mentioning using the f-b or d-b sort of instantly says you don't know what you're talking about. Go to a tourney and beat someone doing that and then we'll believe you.

What if the other player has projectiles? You are quite screwed then. M2's projectile isn't good enough to contend with most other projectiles, and just because you sit there doesn't mean that the other player will come to you. Besides, most characters have an easy time beating up on M2. Just standing there waiting isn't going to do you much good if the other player isn't a retard. THere are A LOT of other characters that rely on you coming to them due to projectile tactics. Dr. Mario/Mario, Samus, Link/Y. Link, Sheik, etc. can ALL use that strat, and they can use it MUCH better than M2.

Please man, do yourself a favor and at least try read up on this site and learn from the vast knowledge here. Do you REALLY think that you are the ONLY person that knows how to play Mewtwo properly, and that all the other players who have been playing Mewtwo for years and have attended tournies haven't found the techniques to "rape" Marth that you supposedly know? Thinking like that only shows that you are naive.
