WaveBombing/Extended Grapple

So I've read a little bit and saw someone mention wavebombing, and I was just wondering if someone could give me a decent explanation of what this is?

Also, I know about the extended grapple, I've done it many times before, and I can do it whenever I want.

What I do to get it, is tap Z repeatedly, while rotating clockwise on the D-pad. It usually works after a couple tries...

What I'm asking, is what the exact way to get it is. I've heard that you just need to hit down on the D-pad for 1 frame exactly, but I tried that and haven't gotten any results so I doubt that is the way. Does anyone know the exact way to make the extended grapple?

Wave Bombing was brought up by Jasona, so you'll get a better explaination when he comes around. but until then...

Wave Bombing is where you bomb off a person, dodge down to the ground immediatly, then Wave Dash and bomb again. you can do this across FD like Fox's Shine combo. note I said can I dont think anyone has pulled it off yet.

Note: you can double bomb instead of just one bomb.

Even though I recently posted that I thought "WBing was slow as s**t", I think, when I tested it in an actually match, vs Undr, "I was slow". I don't think I've put enough work into it to give up. I'll make a vid whenever I get it refined down to its top speed.

The you tube link is in there. I have stuff about wavebombing. I dont use it to try to "shine combo" Because it doesnt work. There isnt enough stun from the bomb. Foxes shine combo works because there is alot more stun from it. People can pretty easily get out of bomb combos they just have to know what to do. But yes once the bomb explodes you just Wave land. I have a few uses for it in the vid. Also the extended beam.
