Hello I discovered that mewtwo can jump higher if you do an aerial at the right time during his second jump. Does anyone know more about this? I can get about 2 mewtwo body lengths higher with this, I'll try to get more specific about timing and why it works after researching it more.

yea it's been known for a long time, not really useful tho cause m2 can recover from like.. anything with just his jump and teleport (assuming that he stays alive tho)

Ok well here is some more info: for best results do an aerial after 34 frames of double jumping, 33, and 35 work about just as good, 29 is about the same as not doing an aerial at all. I think its something to do with the way his second jump works.
In his second jump it really boost him up but then it drags him down faster than just falling, so when you do an aerial it cancels the jump before it begins to drag him down. Just like doing an early aerial cancels the jump before the boost upwards.

Ok I figured it was known. Also its not that useful like you said, but still useful none the less in some situations where you are way out there or way low. Also free aerial attack is always good stop ledge guarders. Also I recommend back aerial because its the shortest move.

Sounds somewhat useful..

..is melee 30 or 60 frames per second?

Recovery and jumping is the very least of M2's problems....Its the ***-whooping he gets once he gets close to the ground that
he has to worry about.

Mewtwo doesn't need to take too much of a beating to get knocked off, unlike poor Bowser.

Mewtwo should be happy that he's not as heavy as Bowser, who takes tons of punishment.
