Throwing with Popo and Catching with Nana

I was just playing against the computer when I did something by accident. I grabbed with Nana, but I wasn't aware, so I just kept grabbing with Popo. Nana threw the opponent (Marth) forward, and just as Marth left her hands, Popo caught him. This intrigued me, so I started experimenting in Training Mode. I've been able to get Popo to throw forward and then have Nana catch just as the opponent is thrown, but then Nana just throws in whatever direction she wants. I think this may have potential, but I don't know how to control Nana. Any thoughts?

that's the easiest way to lead to a glitch, especially since the fthrow isn't weight dependent (you just need to learn the timing with one character, not with several, like the dthrow chain).

only way to control nana's throw is to find the area near the ledge where she'll throw off the stage and she'll always throw them off (f/bthrows). then, just figure out what you wanna do out of them.

this might be known, and it is kinda off-topic but anyway...

If you can get Nana near the edge so that she would only throw the opponent forward, couldnt you do the Chain-Throw with Nana and Popo's roles switched? I know its kinda pointless, and the Nana wouldnt be throwind down, but you have more control over Popo then Nana and I was thinking you could do alot more with your opponent this way.

I use this sometimes. Against marth I try to grab with popo and down b with nana and get some hits in. then fthrow and catch with nana and attack the oponent before nana can throw.

man I want to see you "Gore" and ChuDat fight one time. or even team mates. that would rock! you seem to be completely in tune with how to rock the stage with the climbers. I've seen Chu in person. might have to set this one up.

never seen gore's IC's, but a ditto with Chu would be sweet anywase since gore seems to know his ****.
