Just a simple question, does Jiggly have any kind of good immediate response vs Shiek's back aerial. Thanks in Advance!

Pound
Pound's kinda slow and easily recognizable, isn't it when compared to da bair?

Yeah, but if the Sheik is in front of you, not behind, bair isn't an option. You can fair, but Pound is a a safer choice, IMO.

Downpound throws off people's air game all the time. Also, at low %s pound start combos.

completely off topic, but one of my favorite things to do to a shiek who doesnt have great practice against jiggs is to downthrow rest;)

Yeah, and if you spam it (pound) you will be punished. Use when you are positive you can hit (pound's range is massive) or sparingly to catch someone by surprise.
Bair isn't a viable option when Sheik is facing you because he's heavier and the attacks will hit each other at the same time. Shiek will win an endurance game (and Jiggly will lose 95% of the time). Jiggly doesn't play endurance games. Its quick, ditry, and high risk.
You'd be really surprised how fast a 0% Shiek will go down when you are near the edge and he is coming at you shorthop->pound->jump->bair->grab ledge->jump->bair->jump on board and start edge guarding (if he misses the edge and lands on the board ping him for style points). Shiek is pretty easy to edgeguard provided you can hit him right soon after his second jump since his UpB is not too impressive in terms of distance covered VS the Jiggy BAir
Sheik is a very tough opponent but with some patience and avoiding his Fair you can pull through.

Beating Sheik is all about spacing and perfect short hop l-cancelling, plain and simple. That, and lots of Sheik moves are crouchcancelled into rests very easily. Sheik is one of the easiest characters to rest, believe it or not. Lots of opportunities. If you can land a rest or two, you can actually play the endurance game and get away with it.

Is there any way for pound to spike? Like it always goes at wierd angles... And is it possible to l-cancel Jigg's drill kick? It's really hard to do, it has bad lag and it takes too long to drill kick-l cancel-throw, harder than it is with fox anyway, is it possible to do to a fast person?

Pound can not spike. Where the enemy flies is in relation to where Pound hits. If you are on top of someone and pound they fly straight up. If you hit them with pound at the extent of its range it will send them at a 30 degree angle behind you. Pound can completely turn a game around if you hit an opponent that is edge guarding since they will fly off the board if you hit with the extent of Purin's little flipper.
It is possible and not terribly hard but Jigs Drill kick is harder to use than Fox's. Once you L-Cancel it perfectly you can go into a rest quite easily. As far as grabbing someone I've never tried, I rest them if i pull off the move correctly instead of grabbing. I suppose you would be able to.
i say the key to this fight is the JP CC.
any dash attacks make them die.
any faulty downtilts make them die.
any weak (which tilts and the end of the nair and bair) attacks make them die.
f-smash (if for some reason they use it) makes them die.
:beezo: :beezo: CC!:beezo: :beezo:
this all requires that you are at low percent, if not, i suggest bair running with a pound mixed in. up-tilts and down throws lead into rests, but a good sheik ain't gonna let dat GGOOOO.

well a nice little trick i used is to rest on a shiek when they try to Up-B onto the stage. My friend usually tries to Up-B onto the stage and he usually ends up above the stage with some time to fall. So all i do is wait right under him as he falls and then rest.
He doesn't really have time to DI out of the way and even if he fast falls, i'm still right inside of him.
I'm not sure if this will work on other players but he does have a decent sheik.

yea this works on most characters w/ laggy upb recoveries who fail to sweetspot the edge :P

the last sheik I played against with jiggly was Oro. I have to say that the match was surprisingly close, I didn't expect sheik to do that well, despite oro's skill level.
For the jigglypuff side I'll have to agree with prime. Staying low, spacing well, and tricky rests will get you far. Don't do anything stupid.
