6. thunder jolt cant be jump cancelled, wtf is up witht that? they let lasers and missles be canceled, both FAR better projectiles, so wheres the love? mario, the links, luigi, the pokemon, they all cant do it
7. his neutral air has a 50% chance of being out prioritized by attacks with less priority (check on AR) , talk about sucky
8. he has no priority
9. his up B is a horrible attack
10. because of 9, he cant up B out of the sheild effectively
11. bad tilts, they suck
12. is neutral A is pointless because afterwards you get smashed
13. all of his other ground attacks are slow
14. sucky shield means no powersheilding
15. his up B has so much lag when you land
16. his up B has even more lag when you hit the ground with it
17. his forward B doesnt charge as long as pichus
18. his forward B doesnt go as far as pichus
19. his forward B is weaker in % than pikchus
20. his forward B doesnt send him as far as pichus
21. his down B lags him if it hits him

2: Beacuse of 1 he can't Up+B out of his Shield
3. His Shine sends people to the side instead of up
4. His blaster doesn't stop people like falco's
5. He can't jump as high as Falco

7. OH yeah, his up be Is so and predicatable
8. His Fsmash isn't as strong as Falcos
9. Some times if you look really close he blinks... thats stupid...

MAking a list of cons doesn't make a charactor bad. every charactor in the game has flaws that can be exploited its up to the player to avoid these "charactor flaws", if you will.
What makes a charcter "good" is wheather the flaws are out wayed by the strengths... keep that in mind bud

I downloaded a vid of vidjogamer's Pika on the hub a couple weeks ago and it looked really good and won the match. Whats to complain about? I think Pika could possibly be a couple notches higher on the tier list. Then again..I'm not quite sure who should be lowered to take his place.. Anyway the rat has many things going for him, for one thing all of his smashes are good, I cant think of any other character who I would say the same thing for.

This coming from the Mewtwo guy... i find it funny is all.

I've been messing with Pikachu, everyone says Yoshi sucks before they play me and change their tune afterwards, Pika has that same potential, ive pulled off some sick combos with him already and his upsmash may be his best weapon but its arguably the most powerful upsmash in the game for its speed. Pikachu just sucks in the air, kinda like peach (yea she has some strong air moves but her ground game owns compared to air) Pika has a decent ground game.

Pikachu has great speed. Try a grab, toss down, rapid A attacks for an easy 21% from 0%, and if they tech out of the grab, just chase and up smash as they get out of their recovery animation, run toward where they fall, then follow up with another upsmash and another one if they haven't DI'ed out of it yet.

WDing is only usefull for mind games, or WDing out of the sheild and down smash.

I've seen what a good Yoshi can do and I was impressed. I've also seen what a good Pikachu can do, and how limited his options are after your opponnet can dealwith his tricks. Why do you think Rori quit him for Falco? Cause he's so limited (or at least that's what he told me.)

At least Mewtwo has a mediocre beatdown game to work with. And a little speed. Pikachu is just lacking.

Pika has plenty of speed, and power. And his WD isn't all that bad. Infact it's very similar to Kirby's. I WD more effectively with Kirby than anyone (cept maybe Fox). True his sheild is just disgraceful, but other than that I don't see what the deal is. He's not that laggy, his recovery is quite good and he has plenty of offensive options.

Actually, he can. What you have to do is choose the direction of your first attack, then quickly jam the control stick in the opposite direction and quickly jam it back to the same direction as the first before the second attack activates. If done properly, you can go in the same direction twice.
