You guys probably already know about this, but if you shoot a thunder jolt while standing on certain inclines, and especially while facing certain walls in stages throughout the game, it will reflect back in the opposite direction! If you're doing it off a wall, you stand about the same distance from all of them, which is very close, maybe only two steps back...experiment and you'll find it. I would think this has little to no strategic value in high-level play, but it's fun nonetheless. Here's the list of places I've found it works:

Corneria:

-Facing right, lower segment of top wing.
-Facing left to the "wall" on the far right side of the ship.

Princess Peach's Castle:

-Facing either wall at the base of the tower.

Rainbow Cruise:

-All walls I tried worked, including the entrance to the ship (right side).

Termina:

-Facing right, the turtle's head (when in profile).
-Either side of the turtle's shell (when looking head on).

Venom:

-Either side of the upper "wall" (However whether this works or not is dependant on the current angle of the ship, so using BWTJ in Venom is even more useless than usual).

Yoshi's Island:

-Stand facing left, right at the "lip" of the pipe.

Onett:

-Bottom walls of both houses.

Hyrule:

-Facing left on the lower of the two platforms, on the left side of the stage.
-Facing right side of central pillar (right of center on the map).
-Facing left wall of large pillar on far left side.

Poké Floats:

-Anywhere on squirtle's left arm.
-Facing the right side of weezing's larger head.
-Facing slobro's tail (must still be curled up).
-Facing the right side of snorlax's belly.
-Either side of venusaur's "trunk".

Icicle Mountain:

-Bottom of the right side of the hill with a single tree (somewhere on the left side of the stage).

If you know any more places, please tell me! Thanks!

I've noticed that too! :) Still, it's very rare and because of this, I try not to worry about it. I hope that this information will come in handy though.

Sincerely,

EDIT (so as not to waste more room on unecessary posts)

I was aware I wasn't the only one who knew about this...in fact, I said that you guys probably already did in my first post...but I just wanted to do this so a list of places could be formed, because I thought it was interesting, and I didn't see anything about it anywhere else in the pikachu/pichu forum. And was I getting upset? No, just being sarcastic back.
