edge wall jump

Sometimes when playing with mario i saw him perfom a wall jump very fast and allowing me to do a secon jump, i have mastered de jump, but a dont know if it is useful. First, you jump to the edge as if it were a wall, then tap the control stick back and Mario will do the wall jump.

Yeah it can be useful. Mario actually has a glitch involving it. you do your upB next to the wall and in between the end of the upB and the beginning of your freefall you wall jump thus giving you back your jump. its kinda hard to do but can be useful. I find that characters like Young Link and Samus make better use of it. grappeling the edge and then walljumping off is a really good way to recover. stages like Fourside alow you to walljump from wall to wall to recover. you can also walltech. this is just like teching on the ground, but up against a wall you are thrown against. this is pretty much just used for regaining control as you hit the wall.

I learned a nifty trick from my brother involving Wall Jumping. When playing a map with a place where you fight a lot including a wall, such as Corneria, be sure to jump at the wall, wall jump it, then double jump to reach enemies above the wall. My brother uses this all the time in Corneria. When I'm above the wall, he does this trick and then AUAs me.
