First, nowhere did I say that I think M2 is a bad character. I created a thread for people who do think so... then turned around and called them the flamers that they are. (testrider, that's your cue- bring it on!)

Also, If someone does start badmouthing M2 in more inteligent threads, we M2 players can tell them to take a hike by referring them here.

I'm sorry, this was a misguided attempt to flameproof the mewtwo boards. That initial post was so cryptic because I thought it could go two ways. If people actually were using the thread to flame Mewtwo, we could all ignore it and get on with figuring out a way to make him at least mid-tier. If the topic was truly troll-repellant, however, which it seems to be, (flamers tend to not consider themselves flamers) then it could be converted into a discussion on how to overcome his shortcomings.

I failed to properly address that possibility, instead limiting myself to a slightly less subtle reideration of my intent with that "flamers only" statement: "if you agree with this you are an a$$hole"

I personally feel that anyone who is compelled to declare a character as a lost cause should not interrupt those who are working on that cause. Playing the devil's advocate is one thing- telling people they are wasting their time is another.

I can see, now, how I seemed to say the exact opposite of how I feel. I'm sorry.

I request that a moderator delete this thread in another week.
