He could throw like 15 at once in the first mario bros.

He doesn't suck, that's a pretty ignorant statement. It's just that everything that could be considered a "weakness" in Bowser was extremely exaggerated, such as speed. Even his hits aren't that much more powerful then some other smaller, faster characters like Falco for instance. This is misleading; because of his immense size, you'd think he'd crush any and all competition. The developers had to do this to "try" and create a balanced game with characters that are quite diverse and with different special abilities. Think of some of the other character's powers. Mewtwo could make you self implode or something just by thinking it. If there was no exaggeration of weaknesses in Mewtwo, he would be simply unstoppable and the best character in the game by far.

I would if I could. You try responding to this topic. You haven't yet. You just said nintendo made bowser suck. Luke disagreed with you. There already is a thread about why or why not bowser sucks. What else is there to say?

Bowser does have a certain way to play him. I play Bowser and Marth consistently and I've noticed L-Canceling every move is incredibly important with bownse. Not just Dair and Bair. Everything. Keeping Bowse as light on his feet as you can will decide if you win or lose a match against a good speedy char (Falco, Fox, Marth [Marth is particularly tricky]).
Patience is paramount. Bose has serious difficulties with anyone who has a diverse range game (Link, Samus). Much of the time you find yourself trying to PWshield so many projectiles and you move an inch a second toward the other player. Manuevering around projectiles with Bowse can spell pretty quick death. Air-dodging isn't a great option because Bowse lands way to heavy on it and it creates undo openings. So shielding with a very slow approach seems to be the best meathod unles your near a shield break, in which case you would need to jump the projectiles (His rolls and dodge's leave him vunerable to anyone with good ground speed), because at least if the approach in the air you have Bowse's Fair which has very good priority and a very healthy amount of knockback.
Against heavy Aerial chars his fire is nice. His fire has more priority then most people give it credit for and will pull practically ALL attacks in without taking a hit as long as he isn't hit anywhere past the 90 degree radius of his front side (FUN FACT: If Falco or Fox approach from behind Bowse with a flash run they'll actually get pulled into his fire and Bowse won't take the damage.)
Theres a lot more like how Bowse is probably one of the most efficent SH'ers in the game with his Fair. But I'm tired of writing now. If you want to hear more tell me so and I'll continue. If you don't tell me so and I'll go away.

Bowser isn't a super good Short Hopped Lcancelled Character. He can be shield grabbed even if you fast fall and Lcancel.

And shuffling bowser is useful if they don't shield, at least it works on my firends. Its not like you just run up and shuffl. That's stupid. Results in you getting grabbed.
