View Full Version : How to "fly" with Link and Ylink

--1st go to Tiny Melee (the smaller you are the better this will work)
--with Link or Young Link...
1) take out a Bomb (and then double jump off course)
2) Down-Forward throw your Boomerang
3) press Up B
-catch Boomerang
4) press Up B
-Bomb will explode on you
-----repeat the process of taking out a Bomb and Down-Forward throwing your Boomerang and pressing Up B and then you can stay in the air for as long as you want with your infinite jumps.
-----Note: With Young Link, the Bomb will kill you at the top of the stage at about 120% +
-----Note: With Link, the Bomb will kill you at the top of the stage at about 46% +
Can anyone of you guys do this? I was trying to do it with yound link and the boomerang either missed me or got back to me in the middle of my spin and I didint get my third jump back.
Try this and if you can do it explain better than this how you do it.

There is a better way. In training mode, set the CP character as Link and go to a big stage like Temple or FD. Set the damage to 350% (at least) and continuously do the bomb recovery. You can stay in the air as long as you like by doing this, and it’s much easier and simpler. When your percentage gets higher, you can kill yourself from the ceiling. Isn’t it so fun to kill yourself?

Yah I already know about that, I was it on the "linkology" video and It cant be dont with yound link because his spin just hits the bomb away and the bomb dosent explode on him, any thoughts on this? Also that cant really be done in a real match unless you have very high damage.
Try it the way "mew2king" describes, you can do it at any damage I think, but I havent been able to do it. The boomerang comes back to me before I finish my spin. Do you guys think he is makeing this up and it works in theory but cant really be done? Try it and tell me if you can do it and how you do it. BTW I was doing it with young link, I dont know if its harder or easier with link.
