While playing with Mewtwo this evening I discovered that Mewtwo's dashing smash can penetrate Fox's fire fox and Falco's fire faclo (but the timing has to be spot on). I also noticed that his galaxy (or whatever his upsmash is called) seems to be able to go right through some attacks when timed properly, including Link's aerial down-a (again, when timed properly - if the attack was executed too soon, the lingering aura obviously didn't even hurt him, and too late and the attack would just nail Mewtwo upside the head). I was wondering if other attacks he possesses have similiar qualities - I didn't notice any real discussion of disjointed hit boxes on Mewtwo's attacks in any of the threads in here. Are his tail whips DHBs, or do they just have nice range? Is his downsmash a disjointed hit box attack (not that it really matters with the range it has)?

Interesting... the only one I can be pretty sure about is the downsmash, because it's an energy flare, not a part of mewtwo.
(unless I'm wrong about what "disjointed Hit Box" actually means, in which case forget what I said)

One way I can think of to test the tail-smack theory, is for someone to grab a hammer, and for mewtwo to try to whack him. I'll come back when I try this out.

Ok, the Hammer idea was a flop, but I tested it against Bowser's fire breath, and even when the tail is fully extended, mewtwo wasnt burned untill the flames reached his ankle. this would seem to show that mewtwo's tail does have a DHB.
