I played a couple Ganons at TG6, But I found Pokemon Stadium to be pretty good against him. I was playing Eddie and really i was just spacing myself really well with projectiles and jukes, and you don't wanna do things that are gonna give you any kind of lag too much, like the air down+A because if you f*** it up, you're gonna eat it. You should grab a bit but not really shield grab cause they usually expect that after a blocked air foward A or really any aerial for that matter. I also found Ganon's easy to Juggle with air up A's, and if you can get him on any of the platforms, it's a good 3 air up A's or so if you're good. The other real important reason that a lot of people miss is Ganon's poor recovery, and no I'm not just talking about how easy it is to edgeguard him with his recovery in general, but if Ganon try's to recover really low and near the stage on Pokestadium, the stage itself blocks out the view of him so you can't actually see him when he's recovering, I mean It's hard enough to grab the edge perfect with Ganon on any stage without being edgeguarded, but it's reeeeally hard to grab the edge perfect when you don't even know exactly how low you are, which makes it easier for you to
edgeguard him......badabing...

Well...I haven't played Eddie, but I have played Ganon players in my state, and their was a few lessons I have learned, try not to get caught in there grab, it just sucks to see yourself get chained grabbed. Watch out for Gannon's standing neutral A, this thing has range, and for some reason, it has power to boot, use your projectiles to set Gannon to having to avoid the projectiles and not Link, giving you a chance to lay in a Fair or else a sex kick if he's at higher %'s.

Also, if Ganon is 50% or higher, and you've got him in a grab, down throw Ganond and Up+B, that's basically a free hit, at higher percentages if you have him in the grab, do a downward throw, but instead of a Up+B, do a short hop into sword plant, Ganon shouldn't be able to recover, and should get hit by the Sword Plant...remember not too high of percentages or else you'll have to resort to short hop Uair.

If your knocked off the edge, and it's a stage with a wall, try your very best to hookshot the top of the ledge, so that you grab the edge perfectly...you don't want to grab way at the bottom, so that Link has to do an Up+B to come up or that Link does that stupid flip before grabbing the edge, against Ganon...that screams out "Spike me for free!".

There's more, but I'm so tired atm, only got 2hrs worth of sleep due to writing my book, I'll post more later.

Well, well, if its the 2 characters I hate to play the most against, Marth and Ganondorf. Range r0x0rs. Be aware that Ganon's aerials will always outreach Link's attacks, most of the time you will trade hits with a good Ganon. Expect to get shield stunned alot. So you must trying perfecting Wavedashing out of shield while doing a perfect wavedash so you will be in safe range of Ganon's good range. After that, you should grab Ganon and start whatever combo you like on him. If his percentage is low, build it up with b-airs, uptilts, up-smash or where ever Ganon DI's to. As percentage builds up to about 65%, try U-throw combo into Up-air. If he escape your grab combos, try using your bombs or boomerangs, once he gets hit by one, try to combo your projectiles into Link's Up-air and start trying to juggle Ganon as much as you can.

And if you are being edgeguarded by a Ganon, try throwing your boomerang out to hit him to interupt his attack, and try sweetspotting the edge with hookshot.
