to Bowser's down throw? Has anyone else noticed this? I was recently at a tournament (playing a low tier tourney) and I forgot that game and watch was not hurt by bowser's downthrow. I pointed this out to my opposition and he said he though it was because geedub is 2-D and doesn't get squished (although the animation is still hilarious). This would kind of hold true with Jiggly not getting hurt, since she can squeeze her body to be almost 2-D. Any thoughts? Comments? Oh, my version of smash is the newest one I think.

No character is immune to any throw, except Giga Bowser. That kid is out of his mind. Anyway, on to dealing with these two...

Vs. G&W: A good G&W likes to WD. Use Shffled f-airs to go on the offensive. He tends to come in very low with his recovery, so be ready. G&W can't KO very easily, while you can. Hit him hard.

Vs. Jiggs: This one will rip you apart. Your massive size lets you get Rested time and time again. Never play defensive with Bowser. Always go on the offensive.

I know for certain that downthrow does 0% damage to Game and Watch and Jigglypuff.

He's not crazy, really.. I think it has something/everything to do with their being 2D-esque, yeah... It's pretty weird... It's just important that Bowser knows this. You won't get too many grabs on Jigglypuff (don't fight Jiggs with Bowser; that's just a bad, bad, bad idea), but when you grab Game and Watch (and that really shouldn't happen too much either) I would say don't use the down throw, but it's really just so awkward for the G&W that a thoughtful player may still be able to take advantage of the setup.

Is there a % after which the throw does damage? I do recall in some game being about to downthrow and damage a Jigglypuff. It might be a version-specific thing.. But mine's the newest one and it does no damage.

Possibly it's the same reason why most of Kirby's throws are pointless against the same two characters also.

What we need to do is convince the dragon turtle to just lay on top of jiggs and GaW once he's on top of them. Just never get up, and boom, instant victory.

It's a glitch, which was rectified in the PAL (Euopean/Australasian) version, where Bowser can hit both G&W and Jiggs with his d-throw.
