Inconsistancys in Ganondorfs WD

at first i thought it was my controller breaking down some more cause its already messed up but i noticed sometimes ganons wavedash is a little weird, i could Wdance for 20 mins with no mistakes but i noticed with ganon sometimes his WD going backwards doesnt always come out consistantly. This annoys me sometimes and occastionally mess up my game. ive been playin G-unit since whoah and rarely use anyone else still dont know why i get the occational jump instead of a WD, does anyone know if him jumping backwards triggers and longer jumping animation or how i could be havin this problem?

Ganon takes a lot of time to jump. Your pressing L or R to early probably.

Hey, give the guy a break. I haven't exactly heard words of gold from either of Essence or falitigniaong;oang'iajuseus or however you spell your name. Not saying you guys are bad posters or anything..just lay off the guy, he seems new.

As for an inconsistency in Ganons WD, sorry..there isn't one. It works everytime if timed correctly. Just practice it, and implement it into your game.

He had the same problem I always do with it. I'm used to playing faster jumping characters and Ganon's a slow jumper, so I consistently do it too fast. He did it the same way.

And I haven't seen any bad posts by him. So why are you ranting on him Esscense and that other guy I can't spell the name of?

Personally, I don't think Ganon should WD. His roll is great. Good distance, long invincibility frames, low-lag. Characters who have bad WDs tend to have great rolls, and vice-versa.

his WD is pretty decent it helps evade some dash attacks without being to far for the strike, i find it useful

dorf's WD is relatively useful and is always good to have- worst comes to worst you could at least use it for edgehogging or recovering into a ntilt

as for tipman, I don't mind him at all with the exception of his avatar- luigi looks a lot more of an airhead than he usually does- making tipman sound like an idiot even though what he says isn't stupid (no offense at all tipman)

Yeah, you probably are just pushing L/R a little fast. Still, I can't wavedash with Ganondorf but I've never seen any inconsistancies with any other character or anything else Ganondorf does, and I use him a lot.

Yeah i find his roll more useful, it has good range, and I'm not much of a Wder anyway,especially since I use Link and Ganondorf, the most worthless wvaedashers ever, lol

And to those two n00bs who were dissing Tipman. First of all, a guy who has about 200 posts should NEVER treat someone he has 2,000+ posts, like they don't know what they are talkin about. Second of all, I'm pretty sure I have more rank than you two, as so far both of you haven't said ANYTHING that would redeem yourselves as not being stupid or newbish.

Second, if this is the same Thomas Tipman, who mad The Triforce of Power combo vid, then you two should be licking his shoes. Not only did that video teach me one of the best edge guarding skillz (Reverse jump U-air kick), but it had the most gangsta ending in ANY combo vid.

And most importantly, even though, i'm not much of a Wdasher, (Even when I'm my secondary Doc, i don't do it that much), the Ganon in the video Wavedashed better than ANY ganon i've seen in my lifetime. So it's obvious that he's been at this forum longer than you, and OBVIOUSLY a much better Ganondorf player than y'all.

Honestly, if this is the same Thomas Tipman, i'm surprised he didn't just straight up own both of you.(Even if he isn't, just the way he talks shows he's more respectable than a couple of illiterate 12 year old white boys)

I agree with king ganondorf, c-stick, and hyper-link. I fought thomas tipman at smashaid and getting owned by him was the best thing that ever happened to me. Anyway the wd thing that happens to me sometimes too, I guess people just push the buttons too early.
