link has a great up b cause of the distance it brings you.......either way which ever is more effective or easier(i highly recamend a bomb) for you is while your coming back right before you use up B hit them with the bomb or boomerang them up b them and make it hit them at the end so it throws them away.(with little link i jump of the edge and repeat a few times for some dmg try it out)

edge-guard proof? fie, I say. silly comment, fie on't.

Link may have an excellent recovery, but by no means is he edge-guard proof. a simple way around his up-b? Shield! or as my friend does, roll away, roll back, upsmash. If you have enough height, yes, bombs/boomerang/arrows help, but by no means are ANY of the characters in SSB edge-guard proof. Peach is probably the closest, though.

Better yet, just CC his up+b and swat him away. Particularly nasty with Marth, d-tilt poking :/

IC's are also tough to edgeguard depending on their altitude, because they have awesome air control with their forwardb and it gets them insane distance. Their triple jump is pretty hot as well and they're nigh invincible during it.

What would be Link's best edge guarding move? I have heard that Link has about 3 edge guarding move by alot of people i play here, but i never really knew which edge guarding move is actually the best.

Edge guard proof unless there's a move that beats Up + B. Like Ganon's back air. That move will go right through Link's Up + B.

if they're high enough damage, you can go out and try to sword plant them since the bounce will let you recover afterwards. just remember, if they see it coming and dodge or otherwise avoid it, you're boned, plain and simple.

other than that, maybe jump out and sex kick, but most characters can do that or some other variation....

Quite right...but more likely shiek than Peach. Shiek like, becomes invulnerable in her recovery. its frickin ridiculous.

Peach is easy to edge guard when she has no midair jump. A timed bomb drop and she’s screwed to a move of your choice.
