Hidden Secret of Samus Downsmash

I was playing this Samus, quite good considering he doesnt even go on smashboard even though he know about the basics of the game. Anyways, I played him. He is that type of Samus player who just spams the missles non stop and charges his beam whenever he gets the chance and back offs whenever you try to attack him. HIs accuracy with them is godly along with the timing. He starts firing a barrage of missles at me. I dodge or jump over them and try to hit him with an aerial attack, then he crouchs and downsmashes me, out prioritizing all of my aerials, its even hard to get a sex kick in since samus has like one of the best Crouch Cancels in the game. This sometimes results in phantoms hits. Which he well knows about. He does about like 4-5 of them in a 5 stock match just by using samus downsmash. The only characters that can probably eat through that strat is the swordsmen as long as its not part of their body. It just so weird how Samus downsmash seems to suck you in when your in the air. You basically have to be right on top of Samus and do a down air or something.

Um, I'm lost... What was the point of this? Everyone knows Samus has a great CC game as well as one of the better down smashes in the game.

I think somehow you can cancel your opponents aerial moves by Crouching to downsmash. Maybe somebody can test it out and see if it works, cause Im at school right now. <_<

I think this can be helpful against great characters in the air like ganondorf.
