with luigi sense he is so fast with recovery you can dodge and then use a smash move with the c joy stick and hit most people with it faster then they can react after there move i find it very affective for the begining of peoples lives so you can make a smash combo at the begining

Theres a great way you can dodge basically right behind them and then they will turn around and you nail them right in the nose with your up and B.

These ideas are good and probably work too but they also get predictable if you use them too much.
I think one cool trick is to Wavedash, then wavedash directly down (placedash) to fool your opponent. This might lead to openings if your opponent thought you would just wavedash and dodge through them.

yeah i know it would get predictable but i dont use it rapidly.......i use placedash many times in a row unless fighting someone with projetiles of course but i find the wave dash with luigi people harass it to much and need to learn to use it wisley and effectivley.

You are right about using it wisely but IMO it´s still one of the most "spammable" techniques with my luigi.
Who cares if they know when it´s coming, its hard to know to what´s coming after it (if you don´t get predictable)!
Of course it´s a mindgame on its own to not WD when it would be obvius or something.
