I know what it is and I see the thread below, but i want to know how to do it. I've watched videos of Andy and Anden but i can't seem to do it in the game. Can anyone give me some advice?

If you know what it is, then you shouldnt have problems doing it...

Jump, bair, bair, some fairs and pounds.....

yeah.

Also, whats up with the number of threads?? like, 2 on Gfaqs, and 2 here...>_>

Well i made one on the Discussion page and they told me to make one here on the character specific page, and im pretty sure i only made one of GameFaqs. I figured this place may have a different crowd (guess i was wrong) so I didn't think it owuld hurt to ask here.

1 Question on WoP. When i watch Andy it seems his back is always towards the opponent. Is this a necessity for the WoP or just his preference?

Not exactly a necessity, but it allows you to always be ready to get your Back Air out. It's a high priority and somewhat powerful move in the air, so you always want to be ready to use it, that's why you have your back to them.

against some characters though, u might not stand with ur back towards him. against marth for example, ur better off using f-air instead of b-air all the time. (at least, I feel like its better, I get hit less while trying to use f-air instead of b-air in this matchup. I believe the f-air comes out a bit faster so it's better against marth (b-air has 2 much lag, ull get swiped)).

It's depends on the situation anyways really, I don't really turn around to use b-air in my wops, but rather use whatever is suited for the situation. I think its rather hard 2 explain -_-'. but I'm sure you'll get the hang of using WoP in no time, it aint hard :P. just make sure you move backwards after you make the aerial so you can't be shield grabbed or counterattacked. full-jump, b-air, move back, move forward, b-air, l-cancel... try this is and then try it some more, after that try to mingle f-air, u-air and d-air between all this and ur ready to beat the crap out of everybody :P.

you know what? I'm shooting my first smash vids with some tourney people from the netherlands in a while. I might as well make a 'how to WoP' vid ^_^

I might as well make a 'how to WoP' vid

Starring: Tirune (jigglypuff), Me (any other charachter)

And practicing is the best way to learn WoP, oh, and never use nair :o

Edit: 200th post!

Fair has more aerial lag, Bair has more ground lag.

Fair loses power after the intial hit, while Bair has full power during the whole hitbox.

Bair has more priority.

Im pretty sure they have the same range.

They have the same knockback.

Fair seems to maybe have a few frames less start up...

n air are actually really good for edge guarding
with ganons and CF s down and up b in the air it always hits them and u wont get hit
its good if u want to rack up some damage because they are forced to use up b over again to get on the edge
