Small question

I've got a question about the glitch that let's Link fly; (I would have posted in the other topic, but it's closed :( ) I saw it in a video, and Link threw the boomerang backwards, in the air. How can I do that? Whenever I do that, it turns Link around, and I can't hookshot the edge. Any help?

It's in older versions of the game, I believe its just Throw the 'rang up, jump on an edge (edgehogging style), wait for it to come to you and woosh ! Up Link goes. I have the newest version and from what I'm told it can't be done.

About the Hookshot :

Its just timing my friend. You have to just get close enough for it to latch on to the edge of almost every stage. HDL has a list of everywhere you can use it on somewhere in this forum. But also you can airdodge, and before the airdodge animation is finished, you can still Hookshot.

Hookshotting the edge isn't my problem; it's throwing the boomerang backwards. Or am I not supposed to throw it backwards? That's what he did in the video. So, you're saying I just have to throw the Boomerang foreward, at an upward angle, and then jump backwards and hookshot the ledge, then wait for the 'rang to come back? I'm not sure what version of the game I'm playing; how can I check?

Just toss the rang and then jump off the ledge and hook. That's the easiest way to do it.

It's quite hard to see, but it's on the bottom side of the Disk, in wee small handwriting. Its easier to do it this way, the sooner to present you bought this game, the more likely it is its not in there.
