help beating a chain throwing shiek

hey i have been struggling beating my friend lately,( hes shiek by the way,) because he keeps shield grabing. any tips of what i can do to beat this

Hmmm. . .I'd think that you'd be more concerned about Shiek's f-tilt juggling, AFAs, AUAs, and needles than just normal shield-grabbing. . .

Since shield-grabbing is a defensive maneuver against aggressive opponents, you would normally want to stay back and fireball spam, and force the opponent to come to you. Of course, w/ Shiek's infinitely better needles, she'd force you to come to her anyways.

Your best bet is to aim your shffl'd aerials behind the shielding Shiek, so she won't shield-grab. Another option is while using a frontal approach, short hop The Cape, and follow up w/ your own shield grab if she's shielding, or aerial if she's not, since The Cape will turn around shielding opponents.

Or you could fireball spam, but I don't think that'd be very effective. There's very little that you can do to stop a Shiek who grabs and chain-throws. If you do get caught in a chain-throw, try to DI normally, and throw off her timing w/ The Cape.

stay outa sheild grab, if hes a heavy shield grabber is other game is prolly weak. just range urself outa sheild grab and ur $.

i dont play against sheik much, but u might wanna try gettin the sex kick off before she can grab you again. Mario's sex kick is really quick to get off...
