Hi, I am about to go to a tournament this friday, and only one thing worries me: Marth and Shiek. Now my friend uses Marth, and i still manage to win, but I only one stock him. His range is incredible and when he gets me into the air I find it hard to escape. Also, only my one friend uses Shiek but isn't up to tournament par with her, so I really have never expirienced an expert Shiek, how would I combat her? Thanks!

A good Shiek is insanely hard for Ganon to beat. She runs circles around you, and there is alot of times just nothing you can do. You do have a few effective things you can use however. You can chain grab her with Ganon's down throw, and the Wizards Foot works great on Shiek, but you have to make it a suprise, and please don't spam it. Just use Ganon's mindgames as best you can against her, and try and slip in some of his tilts that have good range, like his forward and down tilts.

Hit forward-b to do a gerudo dragon punch thingy...It's purple.

1. Ban The Tip Masta.

2. Ganon gives Marth a run for his money because of his massive priority. When they go head-to-head in the air, it's relatively even. Most of Ganon's aerials pack sufficient wallop to break through, or cancel Marth's. Marth's U-air seems kinda weak, while Ganon's is incredibly good. Just learn to beat Marth's F-air and not to get spiked is the best thing a Ganon can do to beat Marth.

3. Sheik is another story. An expert Sheik can walk all over a Ganon and then some. Like soberfox said, Wizard's Foot is a great surprise move, especially at high percentages, since it has KO'ing properties. If Sheik goes for a dash attack and you can guess that it's gonna happen, try a short-hop backwards out of range, then use a Skull Crusher in mid-air right to the kisser!

My first tournament, I feared Shieks and Marths more than any other character. Well I should have added Peach and Fox to the list, but yea, Shiek is definitely known to counter Ganondorf. I'm not sure but the gerudo dragon -> gerudo dragon -> dark dive may work as an early combo. At that point, maybe a skull crusher and uairs could do the trick. You're going to have to implement some nasty mindgames though. Lucky for me, that's my favorite part. If it's not too late, good luck at the tournament.

Two of my friends use sheik, and to win with G-Unit i use a lot of Wavedashing to Neutral A. (electric punch). The punch is your fastest move and is a must against sheik. With marth, do a lot of feints. I usually jump in, pretend im gonna attack, then fall away from them. What you wanna get Marth to do is use his forward smash, then go in for a fair. Atleast, that's what i try to do in theory.
