His tail is kinda long if you're goin up against relentless brawlers. But other than that he is really for specialized use w/ lots of practice. I've gotten pretty good w/ him though

On-Topic: A proffessional Mewtwo player does well against Falco/Fox as he can combo against them a lot, as the two are fast fallers.

or they can just kick you to death. miserably. fox and falco are not good match-ups no >_<

I think that he counters Pikachu beacuse he can easily stop Pika recovery and M2 can chain grab him if they dont DI but im not sure if you can when they do DI.Also Pika is relativley light so an U-Throw should kill at semi-low damages. Thats all I've got for now.

I played RDT's Pika at S4C. No pushover O_o'

Mewtwo vs Pika isn't too bad but that upsmash is brutal.

Well...does he counter anyone? Not to put a pointless post or anything, but M2 is pretty unique in terms of his moveset so I think it would have SOME application against a character somewhere...

Mewtwo is kinda close to being a counter to Bowser. Despite the Fortress, Bowser doesn't really have anything on Mewtwo.

I haven't faced a good Bowser though >_<

Bowser isn't necessarily countered, he just has a slightly to moderately bad match-up against most.

no way Mewtwo is a counter for Yoshi. Yoshi's jump cancel works very well against Mewtwo. his large body is pretty hard to miss, and his up tilt isnt the best either. Mewtwo isnt really a Bowser counter either. If anything they might be even. Mewtwo can hit bowser with almost any move and have enough range between the two so that he wont get the blunt of the fortress.

I honestly dont think he has a legitament character he can counter.
