View Full Version : Shffl'd N-Air to Infinite?

Well finally I got down the basic infinite, so now it feels like I can start asking questions about it.

The title says it all. I've tried doing a shffl'd N-Air and then I waveshined and started doing the infinite. Only works on enemies with low damage of course. But the question is, is this a viable tactic?

As long as it gets you in position to shine to shuffled drill to waveshine...you know...

if it gets you there, it works fine ^_^

I have seen others using this before and it seemed to work perfect, as long as they are at low percents. But I'm pretty bad with Fox's infinites, so I don't really know alot about setting up for them, because I never really try and use them during fights.

Well that may be it, but as you may have guessed I'm not exactly a pro at it either since I learned it yesterday... I meant maybe two or three combos after the shine. More opinions on this maybe?

The nair can chain into an infinite at low percentages and if you don't hit directly with it (meaning you start the attack a little bit before you hit them), as you said. As everyone knows, that move gets weaker the longer it's out, so it gets to the point where it hardly moves them.

You can also do cheap imitations of the wall/flatland(drill-shine) infinites with the nair. They're not infinite, but they act exactly the same as one, and if your opponent isn't so good at getting out it may work for a few reps before the damage racks up.

yup, it works. But nair chains are so much more fun!
