View Full Version : IC question
not to sound like a noob at the game but i want to know if there is any way to pull of the IC glitch evertime, is this move based on skill or luck?
incase u dont know what it is here are the steps
1. make nana grab the opponent
2. make popo do F-B to the opponent and he get stuck :freak:
an way to do this is run with both nana and popo, grab throw forward while doing this nana will be sliding forward and then push "z" immediatly after the F-B
but really i want to know if any of u have mastered this hopefully this doesnt sound to weird
*note i have done this glitch a few times*

The glitch is done by doing a forward-B while Nana is holding the opponent. The easiest way to get Nana to grab is to do a ground dodge and hold Z.
I discovered another very interesting glitch that involves the freeze glitch. After you perform the freeze glitch on the opponent, spawn a barrel cannon (assuming you're in training mode) and throw it at him. The cannon will have something in it but the CP icon above the character's head will remain stationary. Also, the cannon will never shoot the player out. Now keep throwing more cannons at the other cannon until it falls off the edge. There will be no death explosion and no-one will respawn. All that's left is the floating CP icon. Try attacking it and your attacks will appear to have no affect.
Now here's the wierd part. You know how items such as a freezie slow down as they move past an object then speed up as they pass it? Well, spawn a couple of freezies and watch it pass the "invisible player." They will slow down just as if someone was there. Now spawn a motion sensor bomb and throw it down below the CP icon. After a few seconds it will detonate. This means that the game registers a player there, but in fact there isn't any because your attacks have no affect on that spot. Wierd huh?
COOL COOL ILL TRY THAT THUR TRICK OF URS!

Yeah, if you freeze glitch on big blue they will go off the screen and they will die without being re-spawned. And on rainbow cruise they will stay where you left them once the level cycles around.
it's not while she's holding them. she has to be in the act of throwing and it's easiest to set up for the fthrow glitch.
there're a couple ways to set it up. the easiest is to just grab and let them wiggle free of their own accord. (isn't sure fire as alot of people'll learn REAL FAST to jump as they break free, so just use this to get used to doing the actual glitch.) right when they break free, make nana run up and grab.
other way is the fthrow chain. this can be done to anyone at any damage as fthrow isn't weight dependant, just need to get used to the timing.
you can also dthrow to nana grab, but this is weight dependant and might not work on lighter opponents as they can be thrown before nana can stop doing whatever it is she's doing at the time.
now, the real trick is to make sure you're facing the edge of the stage and find the "magic distance" where nana's ai always clicks in to fthrow since the edge is so close. once you got that, just set it up. now, watch as she does her fthrow: right as the hammer connects you see a flash. that's your happy time to overb. there's some leeway in there, i think a little bit before won't hurt, but that's sorta pushing it as nana just does her thing out of nowhere sometimes.
i'm pretty sure it can be done with any throw, but it's VERY easy to set up and time an fthrow glitch. not to mention you can actually grab them again to kill them at 999 or when you get bored.
Well Cory i didnt know that she throws forward when shes close to the edge and thanks for all the other info. :p
