Im not really sure if this is a widely known tactic or not. But basically what I do to launch 2 bombs at once is.......

1. Pull 1st bomb out.
2. Throw it in the Air
3. Pull out another Bomb
4. Throw it at opponent
5. Either catch the bomb in the air with "Z" or tap "A" while on the ground and Link will grab it, and you can throw that second bomb at your opponent.

And this move doesnt require you to stay still. YOu basically just time when the bomb will fall, so you can catch that one and throw the next. It can be useful if someone shields your incoming bombs, the first one will bounce off their shield (depending if they are standing on flat land or not) and the second one would bounce off the shield, giving Link time to rush in with a grab or attack, but most likely one of those 2 bombs will hit the opponent.

And as for throwing bombs..... I use Down+B to throw them for my preference because they are thrown at full speed that way. But I guess that really doesnt matter how you throw them out, just as long as it works.

Yah thats pretty cool :p, but taking the time to pull out a bomb throw and catch is taking alot of time and u dont want a opponent to combo u to death because that happens alot with Link :D but besides that pretty cool :freak:

that bomb combo would never work agaisnt like Foxs or Falco or fast characters ha. well my bomb combo I do is start off with a bomb and if I get hit on the ledge or something I quickly jump back on n-drop bomb on the corner of lets saaaaaaaaay FD, but when you drop it dont drop it right away or else it will blow up, so you gotta jump wait like one second and drop it, then I pull out another bomb and throw it and pick the bomb on the ground up and throw it. well theirs my bomb combo it works sometimes not always. your bomb combo is uniqe just not possiable in a match.

think what I want? wtf is that supposed to mean don't tell you thihnk that will work even 50% of the time, how's it going to work against a Falco? when their shooting you in the face stuning you from even pulling out the first or second bomb.

Who said it was supposed to work 50% of the time? Also, who said that this would be useful on Falco?

O_o... there is no need to bash Calibur Zarelid, you are being a bit rude don't you think!?

While it is true that it takes a LOT of time to set up, I think that this could still be a lil useful. I don't think many people would realize what exactly you are doing untill after they are hit by a few bombs. So, if you did get the time somehow this would be nifty. I can see it screwing over campers quite well actually.

I'm just saying if the bomb combo works on maybe one character doesn't mean it would be useful for all characters meaning it's useless, cause if you do it you'll get in the habit of it roably and try to do it on a character it won't work on such Fox Falco Falcon and others.

It's not very useful, but it's not completely useless. I very much doubt you can pull this off very often and if you do it wouldn't really help that much more than likely, but the thing that gets me is that you decided to trounce all over Calibur as if he said that Link was faster than Fox. It would be a fun trick to do against n00bs though XD. You *might* be able to set this up after a KO, but it prolly wouldn't be worth it.

You don't have to like Calibur's strategy, but you shouldn't post as if you are high and mighty and know everything there is to know about Link.

oook I just said it was useless not that Calibur is stupid or anything I just said that tactic is completly useless.

Yes it takes time and can be used in some perdicaments but usually theres no time to pull something liek that :p

I forgot to mention one important step. Its the boomerang to prevent their movement to you when your setting this up.

1. Pull 1st bomb out.
2. Throw boomerang towards opponent ( while Link is in the air most preferably ) so you can halt their movement and set this up on them. *forgot to mention this step. Sorry.*
2. Throw bomb in the Air
3. Pull out another Bomb
4. Throw 2nd bomb at opponent
5. Either catch the 1st bomb you threw in the air with "Z" or tap "A" while on the ground and Link will grab it, and you can throw that second bomb at your opponent.
6. Go in and attack to whatever your preference. Try to make this into projectile combo to grab, or projectile combo to attack.

This is a good move to begin with as soon as the match starts (on some stages like FD where it doesnt set you up close to your opponent), so you can rack up their percentage while being a safe distance away for a bit.

I guess but wouldn't the boomarange return stoping you from catching the bomb depnding on how close you are

The boomerang wouldn't help too much, and it would make the entire process even longer. I still don't think this would work in a tourney match, but it would mess with n00bs XD.

mookierah thats what I've been saying this whole time, anyways even if you throw the boomrange in the begining of a match it wouldn't always reach em.

Even if the boomerang doesnt hit them, it doesnt matter really causing you are forcing them to jump over your boomerang, forcing them to move in your bidding. It is possible to throw the bomb up and back jump, take out another bomb, throw, and jump forward again to pick up the first bombo you threw out, sort of like a defensive manuever when they are trying to get out of the booberangs range. And if your smart enough with the boomerang, you will know how to not make the boomerang go back into Link's arms. I see Link's doing this move in vids against good people. So its just not my opinion, I actually learned it from watching the vids off the HUB.

I don’t know about you but I’d like to stay in the range of the booberang, it’s the best combo!

Oh, lol. That was a typo.No matter how much you throw the booberang away it always comes back to you.
