I have looked through the threads to find this, but I couldn't find it. If it's explained already, can you give me a link? I have seen Wes been doing this in some matches, he lays a bomb in the air, air dodge in to it and use the grappling beam so he gets hit by the bomb and bomb jumps. Then I tried to do the same, but it doesn't work...I just fall down on the ground. What exactly should I press? And does it work in PAL?

Beam Canceling? I think beam canceling is air dodge up and immediately using her beam to grab the wall and hit A to fling your self up. But I'm only good with Samus, I'm not an expert.

All you do is airdodge to where the bomb will be when it explodes and release your grapple before it does so. It's not particularly useful, but it is fun to do and might psyche out someone once or twice.

I have tried for 15 minutes now, but it doesn't work:( . I am exactly where the bomb explodes, but nothing happens.

you have to have already done the parry in the air and start using the grapple before the bomb explodes

also you can do it without the grapple and just parry

The timing is trickier without cancelling the dodge into the beam though; you have to start up the dodge as soon as Samus uncurls from her morphball state, otherwise the dodge will last too long and she won't catch the explosion.

I'm pretty sure I'm doing this right. Are you sure that it works in PAL?

There's no reason why it wouldn't work in PAL if you're doing it right. All you should be doing is using the air dodge to move yourself into position so you'll be caught by the bomb, and using the grapple to cancel the invincibility of the air dodge. If you're doing it right, the bomb should go off as the grappling beam is extending, giving you a bomb jump.

It seems like the way your doing it, testament, is so that you are falling onto the bomb's explosion. What you're supposed to do it time it so right when you are about to start the fall you hit the bomb, not to be falling already when you hit it. Please Correct me if I interpreted wrong, that's just they way it sounded to me.

I'm curious to know how you came by that logic from my posts. If I were to be falling into the explosions, I'd have to be doing the basic bomb jump. You can't use the dodge>grapple to fall into a bomb; you can't cover enough distance to position yourself to where you'll fall into it before the bomb goes off. I've been playing Samus long enough to know how this works, thanks.

Thanks, RockCrock. That was what I wanted to know.

Wow testament! Didn't have to bite my head off. Like I said it was just how I sawa it and yes you can get over a bomb when you air dodge. I'm sure you do know a way to play samus, but just because I don't have a lot of posts does not mean I don't know how to play samus.
