L-cancel

i need help with L-cancel.i wanna know how to use it since most people say its a must for playing link....

1. this is not a Link-only teqnicue, so it should kinda be made in MD.

2. however, theres a load of guides (gardes, Decas Bowser, pictish freaks Pikachu) that describes it, and a lot of topics that describes it. it shouldnt be hard to find.

3. press L or R right before landing while still doing a aerial.

But on a more related matter, you have to use this with Link to make his game faster, by cutting off the lag to his aerials. Using it with his aerials opens up a whole new option, because you can follow up any aerial with virtually any other fast ground attack. But keep in mind it olny works with "a" moves, so you cannot L-cancel the hookshot or and B moves you do it the air.

actually i read it before posting, tried and i see no F*CKI*G DIFFERENCE. thats why i made that thread.

Then practice more, because people can't really tell you how to do it besides what the Compendium says. And dude chill...you obviosuly don't have the timing right. Practice more and eventually you'll see the difference.

Do it with Link's dair, if you get it you can easily notice how fast he pulls his sword out of the ground. It's as his feet hit the gorund, not befoe, not after. Once you get it you'll remember it.

Also with the dair make sure you L-cancel after you hit the person because if you L-cancel right when you're hitting them (like most people would) then you'll bounce and have the lag when you actually hit the ground.
