Read Garde's link guide; very, very handy resource. You'll learn all Link's moves and some of their uses... of course, there is no substitute for experience but it's a great start.

Learn the timing for his wavedash and short hops, also make sure you are proficient with L-Cancelling, it's a vital tool for Link, more so than many characters... three of his aerials, up air, forward air, and down air all must be consistently LC'ed or you will be severely punished...

Get good with his projectiles, try always to pull them out in midair... also never forget that his Hookshot can recover AND be used in combat, so use airdodges and interrupt an opponent's offensive with an air hookshot... great tool.

Read the other threads here, they'll help you out immensely. Link is not for the faint of heart, however... he requires dedication and understanding, and more can be discovered and implement with him. Also, he's a pretty slow character, so adjusting from Marth could take you some time. He is quite heavy so comboing him is a simple task for many characters. Mistakes with Link are harder to make up than most others, as one mistake can cost you a stock. Make sure you're prepared for the dedication required for Link :P

Yeah Drumstickz just told you...Wd and L-cancel. Fast Fall everything and never stop moving. Read his entire post next time...
