Ganondorf VS. Peach

I need help beating peach with ganondorf. When i get close enough to attack, the little ***** will either start spamming her D-smash or she'll shield grab me. Her turnips aren't a problem, I can just roll around them or punch them out of my way. So any tips on how to beat the Jigglypuff wannabe?

Arghhh...peach. The annoying *****. Yeah, peach is one tough opponent for ganondorf. Well, when you get close, you could try your tilts or grab to up throw to vulture kick juggle. If the turnips don't bother you that much you've taken care of one of the main problems. Once you're in close range, you should be able to overwhelm peach. Try F-air to stay out of shield grab range. And the D-Smash... don't know what to tell you here :(. Best I could think of is light shield, which kinda puts you at a stalemate. Well it has little bit of lag, so try to catch peach when she finishes her ****. N-air is also your friend here. It has long range and pretty good power. Most of the time you should be able to avoid her D-Smash and shield grab if you shuffle your n-air, fastfalling after the second kick. And try to shuffle a d-air and land behind here, if you land a d-air, she's likely to die at mid-high percents. Also, D-smash has some range and kills vertically pretty well. Maybe d-throw to d-smash.

Those are just some ideas, hope they help.

EDIT: forgot to mention, Ganondorf could survive hella long against peach if you don't go off the edge. My Ganondorf once survived to 200% against a peach in Onett I was at high percents with 1 life when I took off one more stock from my friend's peach, leaving him with 1 life. When he came back I gave him some 60 percent before he killed me, heh, came quite close.

Canada Mike actually told me that ganon is a peach counter, she try to d-smash? down up and spike her, shes light so at higher %s shell go right off the top

Is it the computer or your friend you are facing? The computer? Easy as 1 2 3 man. 1. Lure her into the edge. 2. sidestep if you need to and grab or just shield-grab her and throw her out of the field. 3. Jump and press down+a and dont hold down and walaah...youve beaten peach...

The friend? I really dont know bout this man. You just need to pull off a killing combo...thats what i do with him.

Yeah this is my second least favorite match up with ganon, I dont know what kind of peaches you are up against but if your against an awesome one, like one of the best in the nation, then your screwed, down airs are definetly key, but watch out for her dash attack and down smash, if your close, do a down tilt it pops her up and puts her in place for a forward air nicely, oh yeah and when your off the edge almost the only way to get back on is to grab the ledge with the peak of your recovery because peach has insane edgegaurd capability with the turnips and the float to dash attack. dude its a rough match up, you just gotta play smart and keep your distance from those dash attacks, and dont roll too much rolling os for noobs, youll roll right into a down smash. good luck though.

Shffl Ganon's fair often, but don't screw up and get caught in her dsmash. When she's floating over the edge of the stage, try and spike her with your dair, which will force her to float backwards, and when you land back on the stage, immediately jump at her again with another attack, because by this time she is probably almost out of float time. If the Peach is good with Turnips she can keep you off the ledge easily with them, which is a huge annoyance for Ganon.

ehh i dont know spamming forward airs is likely to get you in trouble there no match for her dash attack, youll be better off saving those for when she airborne. . . dude, peach vs. gannon is such a bad matchup, i hate that ****.

If you can lure out the dash attack, you can usually land a well timed fair, and from that fair you can stay on her and it's hard for her to get back to stable...until she dies and her stock resets.:D

I can offer some of the Peach perspective here...

Basically, if Peach tries to fight Ganondorf straight up, Ganon wins. Peach has to trade a lot of hits with Ganon to match the devastation that he inflicts on Peach. So you're most likely dealing with hit-and-run tactics if the Peach is annoying you. Try and corner her and abuse the range of SHFFL'd fair, but be careful about it. This approach is one situation where Toad is very helpful. Jumping too high and crashing down with fair just gets you Up+B'd. :(

When Peach knocks Ganondorf off the stage, it's going to be a while before he touches flat ground again. Peach's dair combos effectively keep Ganondorf from getting the ledge let alone get back on, and allow her to be in a positiong to attack the edge and the stage. Basically, the match sucks for Ganondorf. That's not factoring the dangers of Peach's turnips and FC game.
