The taunt of death!

Hey everyone. I thought I would share this story form a couple years ago with you.

My friend, from Texas, who used to be really really good with Fox, was toying with my Luigi. Seriously beating me down too.

I finally made him hang off the stage, and he just stayed there.
Trying to play a mind game with me. So, being the Dan player that I am (in street fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom 2) I walked over to him, and taunted right above him.

I fell over on the couch when it killed him. Spiked his Fox right down to death. Fox couldn't believe it either.

Are you just saying this for the **** of it? Or do you think that you discovered that Luigi's taunt has spike abilities?

i've done that to a friend, just for fun. It was right after I learned to wd. My friend was hanging on the ledge, and he got wd-taunt spiked. I didnt expect to hit with it. I was cracking up.

I knew that already for a veeeeeerrrrryyyyyy long time. Never used it. But I knew it was possible.

This is a sad thread... I don't think it's worth starting a thread to tell people that you killed you're friend with a taunt...

But that's just me ;)

I think it's hilarious. Like the time I killed my friend with Dan's air taunt in Alpha 3.

I never said its not "hilarious," but I just don't think its thread worthy. Too late now of corse and it doesn't really matter, but you could have just said something that you think is funny in an already present thread. ;)

But I'm not taking anything away form you, I think killing someone with a taunt is awesome dude! :cool:

HA, I think its hilarious. If you've ever killed someone with Luigi's taunt, you will remember that for a loong time, methinks. I once killed with it w/o spiking. I knocked my friend off, thinking I had him beat, so I taunted. Well, my friend wasn't quite so dead as I thought, and came back to punish me for my taunt. When it hit him away, he was so shocked that he fell to his death. fun stuff!!!

Well, I never really play luigi. So I obviously have never killed someone with a taunt.

Using taunt into you're strategy (don't try this at home) - Luigi's great WD allows him to speed across the stage. One thing that works great is the WD, taunt, Usmash. This is a great combo. You WD to get in range of you're taunt, pop them up with it and Usmash.

I hope you're not stupid enough to do this! :chuckle:
