Dsmash. Fsmash. Oh. My. God.

In Melee, Fsmash was one of G&W's best moves, it stayed out for a long time, had little deadzone if you were spamming it, and killed In brawl, not only did they buff it, but they made his Dsmash godlike, seriously. Dsmash is INSANE. I always liked G&W in Melee, but his tiny shield and horrible defense made him too frustrating to play, but Brawl G&W.... so sexy. Anyway, like I was saying, Dsmash is disgusting. I can sit behind someone's shield and spam C Stick down, and they get hit by it, they just do. They roll away? Dsmash catches them. They spot dodge? Dsmash catches them.

I was fighting a Zero suit today, and just to piss him off I would mindgame standing still spamming D or F smash before I would go and grab. There was a time where I sat still spamming Dsmash as fast I could, and it was parrying her Side-B's....dear God....

omg thank you for making this thread. I mean I've only been playing with G&W since the game came out but I had no idea his fsmash and dsmash is any good at all. I don't think anybody has actually experemented with them, or even used them! *chuckle chuckle*

Sorry, but yeah they are great moves. If you just chill and spam them and your opponents get hit, those are really bad players.

bigger mindgame = down taunt -> up taunt = jumping-up bell

but for real chef is good for mind games just having bacons n pancakes flying around
also swing some hammers around n show off a nine :P

bacon is a really good one to surprise em with, especially when they try a big attack because it usually interupts it. the problem i have with bacon is that once you get it started it is hard to cancel it quickly, same problem with the jab

Just annoy the **** out of em using that bell. and when the run after u just get em with a u smash or s smash. work wonders
