What is the best way to grab the edge?

Yeah. What is the quickest way to grab the edge? Assuming I am standing right near the edge. Any interesting ideas would be appreciated.

hugging: run off the ledge, immediately fast-fall and immediately after that press the control stick towards the stage. You will automatically grab the ledge.

This has already been covered in guides so I don't see why another thread is needed, tbh =/
