Throws vs Attacks out of shield

Is shield grabbing worth it anymore with Marth? Marth's grabs don't seem to do anything other than stop an attack or get someone away from you. They don't kill or lead into any attacks. So would Marth now depend on attacks out of shield (ie. b-up, down tilt, side b) or is there an aspect of throws that I don't see?

Grabs are still very useful, they can reposition opponents, even if they don't combo into anything easiliy. Standign grab has good range, and of course grabs CANNOT BE BLOCKED which gives them an edge over otehr moves of of the shield.
