Nerfed Fair in US Version

According to this thread (http://smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=149157), Marth's fair has been nerfed in the US version (more lag added). How do you guys think this will affect combos and general Marth play?

That doesn't make any sense. How can moves differ between versions of the game if it can be played online internationally?

Well it may not make any since, but it can be possble. BUT i do not see why they may have a reason to this, and can i see some VIDS, or other proof?

Patches are *technically* possible through the WiiConnect24. I don't know if Nintendo will release patches for Brawl though. And I hope fair hasn't really been nerfed. We'll have to wait a few days and see.

Yea...i heard DMbrandon got access to the US version and tried out marth. Honestly though, i don't see this being like "omg, marth isn't a good char anymore" issue. He's still going to be high tier, and his fair will still be useful. Overall...not worried about it. Still maining with marth, definitely. People will just have to adjust to the timing.

I don't believe patches are possible, at least Sakurai does not believe they are possible. He mentioned something about how the wii is completely disc run where it does not load files off the wii. He was talking about adding downloadable content however which may be in a different realm than a patch. http://wii.ign.com/articles/853/853748p2.html
