No More **** Peach - Pro Peach Discussion

Rather than focusing on all Peach's obvious negatives, the goal of this thread is to state the positives for playing as Peach. I am requesting videos and technique discussion on how we can hone our skills to master Peach. Considering my lack of personal Brawl experience, I am depending on others to get this started - without NEGATIVE comments. If a combo is proved to be false, than it will be rejected - but no "Peach sucks" type things.

My hope in starting this thread is to kind of compile the aspects of the positives together. And I'm hoping to get discussion flowing about everything at once, rather than stating a few of Peach's good characteristics for Brawl. The positive threads in existance are currently being overshadowed by vidjogamer's stupid thread - so I'm hoping people will kind of get the message to stop posting there as well - before they explore that thread and flame.

That being said, I thing that Peach has been definitely been nerfed, but balanced is probably a better word. *Shrugs*, who knows, only time will tell I suppose.

I don't think everyone in vidjo's thread was flaming- but the arguments were becoming illogical - and yes, it is a positive that Peach has one of the best taunts :)

Now, on to strategies... let's look at NikoK's and Rockin's threads. They have some valid points. Maybe if someone can put together combo videos or something using their advice, this thread will actually have a purpose.

Well, for positives there Peach's new up-tilt that can function as a kill move (even for heavy enemies). I saw it kill bowser at 150%.

True. The hitbox is also significantly larger. However, unlike her headbutt, shorter characters are really not affected by it while standing near Peach. But regardless of size, t is a great way to keep enemies in the air.

While we are on the subject of using Peach's new characteristics, I was wondering if it was possible to use a turnip to combo into an effective footstool jump meteor smash. For example, if a turnip falls onto an opponent, how long will they be stunned - and given that there is less hitstun now, how would one have to time?

(having played brawl myself and have vids online)
i mean every character has its downfall whether
it be small or big but still, i love her :)

even her side-b is good but u have to time it right
plus it leads to great combos too

I'll be honest I hated Peach in melee (too much gayness) but her Brawl version has got me hooked.

I completed the entire final maze of SSE with just Peach, so she's a possible main for me. She's definitely a "mistress of aerial combat," IMO. :P

Okay, a few positives of Peach.
Her side-b is, I believe, more affective then the last one. I hit people more often with it. Plus this one looks better than a giant, explainable explosion.

Her forward air is faster and still as strong as ever.

Her UP tilt is better, it had a better hit box. Plus it is stronger.

Her taunts are annoying as hell!!! Yeah! *lalalala*

But I have a question.
Is it true she has a sweet spot on the tip of her foot for her down tilt?
