Obviously we all know that the PSI magnet can absorb energy based projectiles. But, does this work on certain characters' final smashes (e.g. Samus, Fox, Ness, etc.)?

Pit's shield can reflect yoshi's fire balls so I'm guessing ness can absorb them.

Absorbing Samus's final smash is evil, but I don't think it would work. Even in melee, PK Magnet could not absorb BLastois's hydropump...(it coudn't even be shined)

Um, no FSs can be magnetized, by Ness nor by lucas. It's true, I tried.

That's because no FS in the game uses a projectile cept Yoshi.

i tried yoshi, but was blown up. maybe it's because i was really close and he rammed me then shot a fireball. hmmmm. gotta try it again i suppose. I'll let you know.

Actually, about a third of the roster uses a FS with a projectile.

I think he means whether it counts as a projectile or not. It seems most final smashes have a kind of priority that says, "Don't be magnitized" like how the warpstar in melee can't be shielded.
