How to unlock Robot?

I know you can unlock him in The Subspace Emissary and by 160 Vs. matches, but there has to have some other means to unlock him. All other characters can be unlocked by Vs. matches, the SSE, AND by doing something in-game.

the only way to unlock rob is to beat hard mode with every othar character 10 times, at least thats what i had to do lol

I'm pretty sure you did something else, because beeting classic on Hard 10 times with every other character is ridiculous.

I'm pretty sure you can unlock all the characters by finishing the SSE (or encountering them there). At least that's one of the ways you can unlock them, out of 3 most likely.

- Play 160 matches in VS Mode
- Have R.O.B. join your party in the Subspace Emissary

I'm also pretty sure they meant "or" and not "and".

The 3rd method of unlocking R.O.B. is to collect 250 different trophies.
