I guess I'll be helpful. It doesn't come out instantly anymore. It's possible to jump cancel it still, but you need to be holding down on the control stick while you jump or it doesn't cancel. You can supposedly infinite combo someone with the shine against a wall by just spamming downB, but there is most likely a way to get out of it. Shinespiking is less risky due to the floatiness of the game.

I heard about the infinite shine and I saw a video but it doesn't look too much like its an infinite but I haven't tried so I can say anything.
So then I guess shine spiking got better?thts pretty good
I'm just going to miss the waveshining and jc shining.

Is there any new ways to use the shine?
Like new techniques with it?

I couldn't jump cancel it the same as in Melee, and I couldn't get it to jump cancel by holding the Shine and then pressing jump either. It appears to "auto jump cancel" in the fact that if you tap Down Special the shine will appear and then disappear quickly, but slower than a JC Shine can in Melee.

Fox's reflector is nerfed, and that about sums everything up.
