Yo. Before I start, let me state my previous name, which was Insemination_17, for those who know me.
Alright. My name is Paul and I go to FIU. If you want to play some brawl, you can come down. We play mondays-fridays (most of the time) in the South Campus Graham Center (1st or 2nd floor with TV), since someone has a modded Wii with the Japanese game.
I've played 4-5 times so far because, as you can imagine, the line is HELLA-long just to be able to play. Anyways, there was this one match I had, which was a one-on-one against the person who owns the modded Wii. I was Link and he was Falco. We played on a stage that he had created (he made it look like FD, but with some sort of blocks), which was pretty cool. I dont have a Wii and I haven't played much so I can't answer most of your technical questions (if you have any), but here is one thing I did notice, and shocked the hell out of me (and all of the people who were watching). In the middle of the fight, I randomly d-tilted, and he was spiked at a downward diagonal angle (I guess it's because of the spot I hit him in). I apologize if this has already been mentioned...
Here's the trick:
You have to connect the d-tilt at the tip of the blade, NOT the center like in melee. The enemy will then be spiked at a diagonal angle (the speed depends upon his/her percentage).
